January 31 – Chapter 2; Verse 28 Day 31 [2.28] अव्यक्तादीनि भूतानि व्यक्तमध्यानि भारत । अव्यक्तनिधनान्येव तत्र का परिदेवना ॥ २-२८॥ avyaktādīni bhūtāni vyakta madhyāni bhārata avyakta nidhanānyeva tatra kā paridevanā (2.28) அவ்யக் 1 தா 1 தீ 3 னி பூ 4 தா 1 னி வ்யக் 1 த 1 மத் 4 யானி பா 4 ரத 1 | அவ்யக் 1 த 1 னித 4 னான்யேவ த 1 த் 1 ர கா 1 ப 1 ரிதே 3 வனா ||28 || 28. Beings are unmanifested in their beginning, manifested in their middle state, O Arjuna, and unmanifested again in their end! What is there to grieve about? Commentary: The physical body is a combination of the five elements. It is perceived by the physical eye only after the five elements have entered into such combination. After death the body disintegrates and all the five elements return to their source. The body cannot be perceived now. It can be perceived only in the middle state.
